The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. It is large enough to accommodate 40,000 worshippers. The courtyard measures about 17,000 m2 & is the largest example of marble mosaic in the world. Its chandeliers are the second largest in the world inside a mosque and the carpet in the main prayer hall is considered to be the world’s largest carpet.
